Start with a minimal business sample

Select a representative product with complete operations and dependencies. Then select orders with different delivery dates and review quantities, remaining quantities, and priorities. A small sample exposes foundational issues that a full dataset may obscure.

Resources and calendars must explain capacity

Review equipment, alternatives, auxiliary resources, shifts, maintenance, and changeovers. Standard times need a consistent quantity basis, while calendars must reflect real work windows. Mark and review data that cannot yet be confirmed.

Materials need an explicit quantity basis

Define the source and freshness of stock, arrivals, and BOM data. For shared inventory, review consumption and reservation rules. Displaying data does not by itself establish reliable production availability.

Define feedback and acceptance

Agree how shop-floor systems report starts, completions, remaining time, and reversals. Define acknowledgments, recovery, and retry behavior early, then validate with reproducible samples and the actual ERP, MES, or WMS.
